Howdy!

Iā€™m Julia!

My sewing journey started when I was in middle school making blankets for my Schleich model horses. It was put on pause as I pursued triathlon (and a degree) in college. Thanks to a month gap between finishing classes, and Collegiate Nationals, and a $100 Visa gift card I received as a graduation present, I made my first quilt (Triangle Jitters by SuzyQuilts) as the two guys I lived with cheered me on. Since then, my sewing stuff has expanded from two little boxes when I first to Idaho to a whole studio in our house.

Love: Good sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies from Moody Coffee in Chaminoix, playing with fabric, summer lupines, and the first two weeks of June in Sun Valley.

Generally Found: Snacking, riding my mountain bike and getting #morekidsonbikes, baking sweets, or cuddling with my oversized puppy. Or sewing. That too.

Sewing Favorites: Color cards (duh!), Fablism wovens, my super colorful fabric scissors, IKEA Alex storage units, and X-PAC21 for outdoorsy makes.
